Privacy Policy
Overview
LocalGenAI (“we”, “us”) is a product studio founded in 2024 and based in New York, NY. We publish mobile apps under the LocalGenAI brand. This policy describes how our apps handle information. We design products so that sensitive credentials stay on your device whenever practical.
Mobile Colab Runner
For Mobile Colab Runner (the “App”) when available:
- Google account access. If you sign in, the App uses Google OAuth to obtain access and refresh tokens so it can talk to Colab-related Google services on your behalf. Tokens are stored on your device.
- Optional API keys. If you enter provider keys (for example for assist features), they are stored on your device for your use in the App.
- Notebook and session content. Code, outputs, and files you run or transfer are processed through Google Colab / Google infrastructure under your Google account.
- Purchases. If you buy a subscription, Apple processes payment. We may receive non-sensitive entitlement status from Apple (for example, whether Pro is active).
- Diagnostics. The App does not sell personal data. We do not run third-party advertising trackers in the App as of this policy’s effective date.
How information is used
Information is used only to provide App features: authentication, runtime control, notebook execution, file transfer, subscriptions, and related support.
Google and other third parties
When you use Colab features, Google processes data under Google’s terms and privacy policy. The App is not affiliated with Google. Optional third-party model or API providers process only what you send when you use those features.
Data retention
Credentials and local settings remain on your device until you sign out, delete them in the App, or delete the App. Google-side notebooks, files, and account data follow Google’s retention rules.
Children
Our apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your choices
- Sign out of Google in the App to clear local session tokens.
- Remove optional API keys in Settings.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in Apple’s subscription settings.
- Delete the App to remove local App data from the device.

Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of an App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
